Tete-De-Moine Rosettes
Beautifully presented in a flower-shaped container, the Tete de Moine is scraped into fine rosettes using a girolle cheese curler. This technique increases the surface area and exposure to air, changing the structure of the cheese and allowing the aromatic, gently nutty flavor to bloom and develop to its fullest.
This traditional, small-batch specialty cheese is imported from Switzerland; its name translates to “head of the monk”.
Sharp, nutty
Take your cheeseboard to the next level with this elegant presentation of a Swiss classic! Or enjoy in your soups/ salads, even atop a blueberry tart.
The nutty flavor of these rosettes are best enjoyed with Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir, or Belgian, Lambic, or sour beers.
