St Agur is an handmade artisan blue-veined cow’s milk cheese from the Auvergne region of France. Made from mountain milk collected locally, all producers sign a “good practice agreement” to provide only the best milk. This double cream cheese has a rich, smooth and creamy texture, balancing its true Blue character. Because it never turns metallic and overpowering, it is sure to please consumers that find imported Blue too strong. Awarded Gold Medal at the 2010 Concours Agricole de Paris.

Tastes great when eaten simply on its own or when served on a piece of crusty French baguette. Saint Agur also makes the perfect accompaniment to pears or figs.
Saint Agur is ideally complimented by a sweet, white wine such as a Sauternes. Be sure to try it with a glass of port at Christmas time.
