Montegrino Asiago Pepperoncini – Aged
Aged Asiago cheese takes on a crumbled, porous texture and a pale yellow color. It’s flavors can range from sweet, savory to piquant. We’ve combined this with the slight spiciness of “pepperoncini”, the Italian word for hot pepper.
Asiago cheese’s texture can range from smooth to curmbly depending on how much it has been aged.
Flavor can ranger between sweet, savory to spicy; slight more spice than other Asiago cheeses
Asiago cheese is very versatile in that it can be grated, sliced, melted, etc. to fit almost any dish.
This cheese is often grated into salads, pastas, soups, sauces, or sliced onto paninis or sandwiches.
